STEP 24 The perforated casing in the active zone allows protective current to flow from the anodes to the earth. Since the casing is plastic, permanency of the deep hole is maintained. Forty feet of perforated casing was placed at this site. Note the plug placed on the bottom end to prevent unwanted waste intrusion during installation.
