STEP 37 Once the pumping of Loresco has been completed, the wash pipe is removed. The lead wire is allowed to slacken by removing it from the hitch pin. Then, the wash pipe is removed one section at a time from the casing, leaving behind the new anode which is held in the correct position by the surrounding Loresco.
